How Often Should You Update Your Brand Photography?
One of the questions I'm asked most is:
"How often should I have new branding photographs taken?"
The honest answer is...
Probably more often than you think!
Many business owners invest in branding photography once, then continue using the same photographs for several years.
The problem isn't that the images become poor quality.
It's that your business moves on while your photography stays exactly where it was.
If you've changed your services, increased your prices, updated your branding, spoken at events, won awards or simply grown in confidence, your photography should reflect that.
I recommend reviewing your brand images every six to twelve months.
That doesn't necessarily mean replacing everything.
Sometimes it's about adding fresh content that reflects where your business is today.
Think of it this way.
You regularly update your website.
You refresh your marketing.
You create new offers.
Your photography deserves to evolve too.
Professional branding photography isn't a one-off purchase.
It's an ongoing investment in how your business is perceived.
